El Barça recibirá este domingo (17:00 horas, Movistar+ Deportes) al Bàsquet Girona en la séptima jornada de la Liga Endesa. El partido supondrá el regreso de Marc Gasol y Pierre Oriola al Palau Blaugrana y será, además, el primero entre ambos conjuntos en la máxima categoría, en la temporada de debut del conjunto gerundense.
El Girona llega al derbi del domingo con dos victorias consecutivas, para acumular un récord de dos victorias y cuatro derrotas en los primeros compases de la Liga Endesa. Los hombres más destacados hasta ahora para Aíto García Reneses han sido Marc Gasol (14,8 ppg), Kameron Taylor (13,8 ppg) y Dusan Miletic (9 ppg).
Hay que tener en cuenta otros nombres como Quino Colom, Pato Garino o Pierre Oriola, que vivirá su debut como jugador del Bàsquet Girona cuando regrese al Palau Blaugrana.
Por su parte, el Barça entra en juego tras vencer al Fenerbahçe en Euroliga (81-80) para consolidar el gran momento de forma del equipo, líder de la Liga Endesa con cinco victorias y una sola derrota.
El conjunto azulgrana mantiene las bajas de Nikola Mirotic y Sergi Martínez.
El duelo del domingo también será especial para Rokas Jokubaitis. Y es que el líder lituano alcanzará la meta de los 100 partidos con la camiseta azulgrana: 46 participaciones en ACB, 43 en Euroliga, 3 en Copa del Rey, 4 en Supercopa Endesa y 4 en Liga Catalana. .
