El Barça viaja este domingo (18.30 horas, Vamos de Movistar+) al Joventut de Badalona, en la octava jornada de la Liga Endesa. El derbi en el Olímpico llega tras el parón de la competición doméstica por la ventana de selecciones.
El Joventut llega al partido con tres victorias y cuatro derrotas, aunque ha mejorado a lo largo de la temporada. Los verdinegros hasta ahora solo han perdido un partido en casa en la Liga Endesa.
Los jugadores más destacados de La Penya hasta la fecha son Ante Tomic (17 puntos y 7 rebotes por partido), Kyle Guy (12,3 puntos y 40,6% de acierto de tres puntos) y Henry Ellenson (10,6 puntos y 7 rebotes por partido). Habría que considerar otros nombres como Pau Ribas, Andrés Feliz o Joel Parra.
Por su parte, el Barça llegará al Badalona Olímpic colíder de la Liga Endesa, con un balance de seis victorias y una sola derrota, sufrida en la primera jornada. Los hombres de Saras Jasikevicius buscarán eclipsar la derrota del jueves ante la Euroliga Anadolu Efes.
El conjunto blaugrana mantiene las bajas de Nikola Mirotic, que ya ha comenzado a entrenar con el grupo, y de Sergi Martínez.
