Los jugadores culé son los protagonistas en Qatar. Hasta el momento, tras esta primera jornada de la fase de grupos del Mundial, ya han debutado un total de 13 jugadores del Barcelona: Frenkie de Jong, Memphis, Christensen, Lewandowski, Dembélé, Kounde, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Pedri, Gavi, Ferran Torres, Balde y Raphinha. Solo cuatro de los 17 culés convocados aún no han podido jugar sus primeros minutos: Ter Stegen, Eric García, Ansu Fati y Araujo.
Y de esos 13 debutantes, dos de ellos vieron el gol, anotando un total de tres goles. Fueron Ferrán Torres (2 y gavi, durante la derrota de la selección española ante Costa Rica (7-0). Además, cabe señalar que De Jong, Dembélé y Jordi Alba cada uno repartió una asistencia en sus respectivas victorias.
Solo tres equipos igualan los tres goles de los culés en esta primera jornada del Mundial. son los psgcon goles del ex azulgrana Leo Messi, Mbappé y Carlos Soler, el Miláncon goles de Giroud (2) y Leao, y el fenerbahçe, con goles de Ener Valencia (2) y Batshuayi. Así, ningún equipo ha celebrado más goles de sus jugadores que el FC Barcelona.
El Mundial donde más goles marcó el Barça se disputó en 1994 en Estados Unidos con un total de 15: seis goles de estoichkov con Bulgaria, cinco de los Romario con Brasil, y dos goikoetxeaun morir Pep Guardiola y uno de Txiki Begiristain, Todo con España. Le sigue el último Mundial, el de 2018 en Rusia, donde hubo 11 goles de los culés: yerry mina (3), Coutinho (de ellos), Luis Suarez (2 y Rakitic, Messi, Paulinho y Umtiticon uno cada uno.
Ahora los culés suman tres goles con mucho partido mundialista por delante. ¿Llegarán a 15 en 1994?
