El “Tiburón” está de vuelta en el agua. Ferran Torres volvió a los terrenos de juego del Estadi Olímpic ante Las Palmas tras dos meses de baja por lesión. El delantero se lesionó el bíceps femoral en los primeros minutos de la victoria ante Osasuna en casa el pasado 31 de enero. Desde entonces, el delantero se ha perdido siete partidos de Liga y el de la Liga de Campeones contra el Napoli.
Ferran Torres entró en el minuto 71 del partido ante Las Palmas en el Estadi Montjuïc sustituyendo a Lamine Yamal. Casi al instante el delantero tuvo la oportunidad de poner el 2-0, pero el portero de Las Palmas Escandell atajó de forma excelente. El valenciano se mostró cómodo en su regreso durante los 20 minutos que estuvo sobre el césped.
Antes de sufrir una lesión a finales de enero, Torres estaba en excelente forma, anotando un hat-trick contra el Betis en su partido número 100 como blaugrana, elevando su cuenta de la temporada a 11 goles.
